This is my latest resto .....
I have never even seen a reasonably priced Ranch within 500
miles of where I live, so when I found the next best thing 40 miles
away I jumped it last fall. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take
any before pics. I was in a big hurry to do the initial cleaning and
get it into storage before winter. But I have made time over the last
couple of weeks to put a little spit shine on it. Hat tip to any fellow
kettle fans that have endured the rigors of cleaning all the real-estate
on a 37 incher.

Nice RRR on the Whalen!
I've cleaned my WRK with a razor blade and steel wool. It's not an easy task.
Are you going to sell it or use it as a cooker?
Dang! That's a beautiful pic of the inside. How did you get that grill grate that clean? Fantastic restore, and I've always thought the Whalen seems like an upgrade from the Ranch. Congrats!
That's awesome never heard of the Whalen till now but looked it up. Very very cool

Searching for a new home. I have more
grills than I know what to do with, and
very little time to use any of them. My
CharQ rarely is full, so a 37 for a ribeye and
2 tails seems a little excessive. LOL
nice restore
Looks brand new...very nice!
