My family and I were lucky enough to finally be able to move into a bigger house earlier this spring and I was able to claim some space in the basement back from my daughters who had taken over the basement in the old house. The new basement has some built in shelves that were just right for my SJ collection but just not quite lit well enough to fully display the colors. After some new additions to the collection I finally was able to run LED strip lights on the underside of the shelves and I couldn't be happier with the final turn out!

That is very nice!
Nice setup and collection!
I almost missed the mini kettle ( light blue or GB) on top shelf and second from left. Where did you find a mini kettle? Is it missing a lid?
Awesome display, really like the matching lanterns!

Nice! Where's the black and Simpsons? A black lantern would be pretty cool actually.

The mini kettle or "novelty kettle" is available in Weber's website. It is all black but I custom painted the legs and bowl damper a metallic silver and the outside of the bowl "glen blue." It doesn't have a lid.

No black SJ's on the shelves. Limited space = all colored kettles. The Homer Joe is my cooker as I found it at a garage sale and it was pretty beat up.
The black lantern is next to the Smoke SJ.

Thanks I'll check weber.com for the the novelty kettle.
What brand and color code paint did you use to paint the GB? Did you use a rattle can or a custom mix with a HVLP sprayer?
Awesome SJ and lantern collection.
Thanks
I learned that the "novelty kettle" is technically a cigar ash tray from the guy who teaches the classes at the St. Louis Weber Grill Restaurant. George Stephens like cigars and viola, the novelty kettle was born.
