My name is Dillon and I have been used to the Weber lifestyle my whole life. I grew up with a Weber as my father swore by them, he's only owned two in his life, and he only replaced the original because it was severely damaged in a large storm after over 30 years of use. I lived in a house with roommates about a year ago and one of them purchased a cheap Home Depot bbq. It wasn't terrible as it got the job done but it does not compare to a Weber. It was very shallow and gave off way too much heat plus the coals were done after an hour. After using this bbq a few times I realized the only way to go was Weber.
Fast forward to now and I just purchased an N code red Weber kettle. I'm very excited about it as it's in very good shape for its age and being red (I've seen a lot online with large rust spots). Mine only has tiny ones, something I hope to repair in the future with help from this forum. I'm new to this and I look forward to the tips and tricks I'll learn on here. That's all for now, I look forward to being part of the online Weber community.
