Title: Color matching.
Post by: greenweb on April 25, 2020, 06:41:29 AM
I have these two leaving soon, in the garage randomly together to be picked up. I figure I will take a pic for memory's sake. Did not realize a how close blue colors matched.

I than had an idea to take another pic incorporating my Ivory MT before others were gone forever.  Nice transition color matching. So long! I will miss you.

I love that white MT. What did you do to the wheels?

Are those wheels 6 inches or 8 like the MT?

7" metal wheels with hard rubber tires. Need to cut 1/2" off the front leg to make it level.

Speaking of green .... how many different shades of green have there been on Performers?
I currently have 3, and none are the same shade.

Dark Green, Crate and Barrel Grass Green, and Sage. It is entirely possible to have slightly different shade of green among Dark Green Performers from one generation to next. Dark Green was offered in all generations. Grass Green on Gen2 and 3., and Sage on Gen2 only.

I have what I would consider to be grass green on a SSP.
Guess I need to take some pics and determine which is which.

If it's a lighter green on a SSP i would guess WS unless somebody swapped it.

I would say it is Grass Green you have. Williams Sonoma and Hunter green are much darker shade of green. WS green is lighter than hunter green but they are both considered Dark Green.  Only other green close to grass green is Spring Green from MT kettle.

Here are the 3 in question...

The top one, and the bottom left one are both off of SSP's.
The bottom right is off of a 3rd gen performer.
