Replaced a few leg caps last year with factory replacements (expensive) and they've cracked already. Found some cheap replacements today at Home Depot - 4 for $2.76 and fit perfectly. Even if I have to replace these yearly it's a very cost effective replacement.

I am a fan of 20oz pop bottle caps, they are free come in a variety of colors and are super easy to find. All the nice looking crutch tips I find are low grade rubber that is not for out doors and only last a season or 2. Caps from the 1lbs propane bottles work too but they are short lived also.
I have had great luck with these.

+1 on the Ace leg tips
I can't remember the last thyme I replaced the leg tips. My grills are set up in a stationary environment, and very rarely get moved around, so there's very little wear and tear. I will say however, that years ago in a past life, I had an old Prototype 22" that was given to me. I used 1" rubber leg tips I found at Lowe's or some such place... worked grate.

That's what I use. I get them in white & black at my local hardware store.
If you have a Menards nearby, they have them in white or black for about a buck for a set of four.
