I would like to welcome any member who can make the trip to Friendship, Wi 53934. I have about 10 or so grills to use, but feel free to bring your favorite grill or grills.
We have a few hotels in the area that are reasonably priced, but if you like to camp feel free. I have plenty of room on the property. The yard and maze are ready. I also have the traveling banner.
I'll have water and soda. So bring you favorite drink, and whatever you want to grill. Hope some of you can make it.

That sounds like a blast. Wish I could make it but I'll be driving back from California that Saturday.
Wish we could make it. Love the Maze. We'll get there one day Dan.

Me to my friend. The little kids like the maze so that's why I make it, plus it looks cool in Google map.
August 10th 2019 WKC Friendship, Wi.
Well this weekend was a lot of work but well worth it. My wife and I did most of the cooking, @ctwhyme helped a lot and a guy Josh I'm training also came with me to learn a few tricks of the grill.
We ended up with 20 people. I have a few pictures but not many due to me grilling a lot. Others have some and when I get them I will post.
The food we had was as follows...
Appetizers
Pita, Tomato, Tzatziki, and homemade Greek dressing appetizer
4lbs Shrimp 21/25 count per pound seasoned with "Weber Boston Bay"
Deviled Eggs
Dinner and sides.
10lb Pork Shoulder seasoned with "John Henry's Old Stockyard Steak Seasoning"
5lbs "Johnsonville Firecracker Brats"
8lbs Chicken Thighs (4lbs with "Weber Lemon Seasoning"/4lbs with "Weber Kick'n Chicken Seasoning")
Baked Beans with apple bacon
Cornbread Casserole
Potato salad
Cold Bowtie Pasta with homemade dressing, pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes
Desserts
Weber sugar cookies
Peanut butter cookies with Hershey kisses in them
Pizzelles "Made on my moms old Pizzelle maker"
Carved watermelon with grapes
Banana bread
For all that made the trip from Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin brought and helped cleanup you all know who you are, I would like to say thanks. They all brought something like Watermelon & Grapes, Buns, Booze, Potato Salad, Bottle Waters , tomato's, wine. Others helped at the end of the night clean up the house and yard and my back really thanks you. They helped clean dishes, tents, chairs, bag set, and just get the house back to normal. Thanks to all of you for all your help.
The next morning for all that crashed at our place we made breakfast. Sorry no pictures of that.
Look forward to many more years of hanging out with all of you.

@JEBIV is was a ton of work but even more fun. Next year I'll do a lot more prep work lol and save my back.
The "Up Nort" (yes, I meant to spell it that way) meet-up looks/sounds like it was a blast. Wish I coulda made it up. Unfortunately, prior obligations kept me away & BUSY (I'm hurting in places I haven't hurt in ten years). Hoping we can make the next one

Next time my friend. I believe it's not to far from you. It was a blast glad everyone had a great time.
Looks like the traveling banner made it to the meetup. Where is it off to now
@Shoestringshop ? I grew up in WI (Menomonie) so it was nice seeing some meetup action there for a change. Hosting a meetup at home is a lot of work for sure, but so worth it. Good on ya for all who pitched in.

I'm in the SW Milwaukee suburbs, so it's only a tad longer than the trip to the Chicago meet-up.
