I'm way behind on posting, but here's a quick recap of the last few acquisitions.
I have to send out a bunch of Kettle Karma to Bertl who hooked me up with the SS 18.5" GBS grates sent over from Austria. I absolutely love these heavy duty stainless steel grates for my mini-MT. I intend to pair these grates with the Lodge 7-qt dutch oven which is a perfect fit for the GBS. Thank you so much, @Bertl!
Recently picked up a couple of early go-anywhere grills, a "B" code CGA with the double-rivet handles and short legs, and also a "C" code galley-que with the single-screw "The One. The Only" handle.
Earlier this week, I get text messages from both JEBIV and Chiku18 alerting me to FB post about a free fireplace on the curb about 45 minutes away from me. I haven't had any prior luck with curb alerts, so I was skeptical about even trying. But Chiku18 also asked if I could agent a grill, so I had to finish up a few meetings before I could make the trip across town and fortunately it was still there when I arrived. Thanks for nudging me towards this Rescue, guys! It needs some TLC, but it will definitely get the two remaining R's.
