This kettle is sitting in the park bandstand of the City I work for. It got used as a prop for a summer musical and then left in the prop room. The ONLY marking on the vent is EP. The lid handle wood is gone and it feels like the welds are about to break off. The drag handle wood is barely there.

It's a Happy Cooker? How can you tell?
It looks like it has a ridge to support the grate. I think that's just grease marks in the ash coating the inside of the cooker. I also see tabs to support the cooking grate. I think it's a Weber.
The bottom vents would also have the weber logo, no?
I see the tabs for the charcoal grate, but I've never seen a charcoal grate like that.

That "ridge" you see down in the lower part, not up at cook grate level, is actually a removeable ring / ash pan.....if you look close, on the right hand side in the one pic (3rd), you can see the row of holes that face toward the inside of the kettle....
It's all one piece, ash pan / airflow diffuser of some sort........
H / C's have bottom vents that are almost like Weber.....the top vent has NO Weber i.d. on it, the triangles are almost identical ( probably why some folks love them so much....) wheels are a lot alike, etc., etc.......
Hoppy Hooker......
The ash tray with the holes in it are an indication of a Happy Cooker, correct?
EDIT: I misread the vent, maybe its a Sears Kettle? But I see no ring around the bowl.
The fact that it has daisy wheel vents makes it even cooler! 8)
It does have a removable ash catcher bowl with air holes that supports the grate. I can go back monday and get some more pictures.
Looks like it is missing a top handle, any chance that Brian is making happy cooker handles?
Happy Cookers don't exist in Brians world.. I am pretty sure its a "Sears Economy" grill 8)
