Title: Well this is a first...
Post by: Lowbrass on October 26, 2018, 10:17:29 PM
Between posts on here, FB, and my own experiences, I had thought I had seen pretty much everything.  Until now.  I was able to pick up this copperhead earlier in the week for a steal of a deal.  The pictures posted are pre clean up.  This thing is in great shape...not a dent, ding, scratch, or porcelain pop; but it was missing the thermometer bezel.  Or so I thought until I went to clean the inside of the lid...

That's too funny. I've seen this before on other kettles... some people need to let those with mechanical skills assemble things for them. Just sayin'...

Oh...so that's how it's supposed to go...

Is that a recent CL find?  If it was the same ad I saw it looked like a possible green 18" hanging out in the background.

Give 'em a break. It's Mod Month after all.

I went into local ace hardware, and they had the same thermometer faux pas on their floor model.  I pointed it out and they fixed it on the spot.
