Title: stok'd ssp upgrade

got a stok cheap yesterday off kijiji , just for the cast grill , didn't know they came with a vortex like device . still have to soak the cast grill but was in pretty good shape . can't wait to use it !

Nice upgrade for a classy red SSP.  Is the Stok-Vortex too tall for the charcoal grate?

Nope it's not too tall, I bought a cheap STOK grill just for the insert and flipped the rest of the grill.
It's just about the same dimensions as a stainless vortex and work well.

yes it will fit , just didn't have my grate in . i just cleaned my ssp to bring my 2nd gen performer into rotation
