It's been quite some time since my last post, and I found a good one! Yesterday while scoping out the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store for some fencing materials, I happened to spot something red and kettle shaped amidst a bone yard of scrappy looking char-broils. Not only was it a Weber, but it was a red patent pending 18" Weber with the ash pan! Oh, and it was $15.00. I did a quick bit of scraping and cleanup this morning. Can't wait to fire her up.

Congrats on that very early version of PP as told by the offset grate straps like the thumbscrews.

That's a beauty! Wonderful job on that. Hope someday to have a red 18 myself, but I doubt I could find one that nice...or that great a deal! Congratulations!
