I just sat down on my back patio to read a cookbook that came in the mail tonight (more on that in a later post) when I decided to check OfferUp as I hadn't all day...a grill posted 2 minutes ago...I look at the triangle, and yup, a 26er. 15 minutes away. I paid the asking price...There's a dent in the leg and one wheel cover is busted, but other than that...wow. Did a 10 minute clean up while the lovely wife was at a meeting at church...what will she say when she goes into the garage tomorrow morning. The bigger question is what to do as of two weeks ago I am completely out of room outside...until I extend my patio like @WNC did.

Congrats. Got a better deal than you though. Picked up a 26 for free with a bunch of random accessories. Ended up selling the accessories for $40.

That beats me mine $75 for a brand new one. The guy got it in a raffle at work. It had a price tag of $150 on it so he thought selling it for half of that was a fair price. I am glad he didn't know $150 was half price. Anyway I gave him $75 and said thank you.

I will tell you what, a 10 dollar 26 incher rates right up there with me finding my happy cooker, I saw it in a junk yard at a RV ite and told the guy I would take that off his hands so he did not have to pay dump fees. He let me drag it away to my trailer and it has stayed with me since as a pride and joy.
The story of getting that thing for a 10 spot is worth more than the kettle, well maybe not, but it is close.

I'm tempted, but I think the cost of shipping a 26er would be a deal breaker! Seriously though, I'm having five rosemary bushes removed so I can begin the patio extension.
