Picked this up the other day from a member so i figured i would drop it in a ssp frame for the time being until i figure out a proper frame for it.

Just a regular ss cabinet/drawer pull. Holes are slightly farther apart so i trimmed a fender washer to conceal the holes.

Thanks but that's a bit too much.
I think Weber should draft you into the R&D department. You have some amazing mods!
Nice going Jules! Looks beautiful! I like this Euro Ivory much better than Canadian Ivory as the lid vent is 90 deg. to the thermo not 180 deg. Much more accurate keeping tabs on the cooking temp.
Tuxedo SSP. Your fabrication and finishing skills are amazing. This one is really classy.

The design aspect is always easy. Keeping the cost of the final product in check is a totally different animal. If i were to design a performer, it would probably retail for $1k and no one would buy it.
I love this!
@Jules V. You did and amazing job from the mounting to the removal of the handle. Looks super clean and stock. Great Job!!!
Amazing job! One of the best SS performers i have ever seen...should be on display somewhere lol

Ready to roll. Got done baking the touch up paint for the holes and did some finishing touches.
Very nicely done Jules

I got those from old gassers. They're used to insulate the igniter wires. They're double walled, a flexible tube with a braided outer wall. Only thing i can find online are single walled with just the outside braid.
