This is a close up of the Custom Kettle. I dont remember if the question has been answered about exactly what was on the lid. It looks like cuts of meat from different anamals. It also says it was harvest orange. I hope someone finds one of these soon.

Thanks Ed....awesome pics.
Zav...I hesitated on that one but had to try it....it was legit.
Now Jeff is trying to ignore the nonsense, he's gone all serious now. Maybe he's fed up with the silliness? I know another place that is real serious...
Zav is doing his best to bate Jeff, Zav is really good at bating people, he is the master ba.....
(just more silliness)
Thanks for that sweet picture Ed! And to think Jeff didn't believe there was any such thing as an orange weber........... ::) :P
Thanks Duke. Here is a picture of a yellow SJ from the 71 catalog, but its not that great.

Things must be warming up in Chicago.. 8)
Thanks for the pic Reilly! The color looks like a non smoked brownie to my eyes, harvest orange...cool! With the meat cuts in the animals, this grill screams Nebraska...like the Westerner screams Texas....id love to snag one of these. Somewhere out there in a barn or a shed.....sits one of these covered in cobwebs and dust. Another added to the Grail list
Oh and Brian....you a funny guy. ;D
Thanks for sharing those pictures Ed. Craig, I bet someone's going to cook one a Custom somewhere tonight. :-\

I checked in at the virtual bullet site, feel asleep 1 minute into it, woke up, came right back here!
BTW Ed...I would love to make some copies for myself if we are able to get some PDF's like you had done with your others previously!
I would be happy to send what I have to who ever wants it. The more information that is available, the higher the chance of identifying and saving some of these vintage items.
Count me in for a copy of pdf.
I would like one please...
