Title: Adding gas assist
Post by: JayyyR on August 25, 2018, 10:13:44 AM
Has anyone added gas assist to this model?

I tried to search the forum for this but type in gas assist in the search bar and you'll be scanning pages for the next hour.

It can be done , but it's a risk and u only have like a 1/4 inch to deviate from the cutting spot

Simple process but not too crazy about the regulator and tank being so close to the bowl. You will probably need to fabricate a heat shield.

+1

On my silver performer project, I have tried (test fitting) gas assist set-up even on the end of folding table and decided not to use it. Looks to cluttered for me.
