love when my mate the courier call in to my place
especially when i know im waiting on a package from members here

table cloth
SJG handles
wok utensils
custom handles for GGG bifold doors
and some other random goodies o'neal decided to chuck in

What about the rest of the stuff......

@eastex, yea he wanted some stuff, and I got it for him off ebay and shipped it out to the big island on the bottom of the world....

I usually send everything to Antarctica then Golly goes with the Japanese Whalers and picks it up.....

Maple....I may be switching all handles to maple instead of oak.  It is just easier to cut and easier to finish.  Unless someone requests oak.  Oak is very durable but maple is very hard as well.  Maple may be the new way I go....

How about Merbau? I got a steal on this for my deck. I wish I had some left to make handles from. This is some hard sh!t! Last the life of our Webers.

Indonesian hardwood
They sell heaps here in oz
4 x 1 decking about $1.25/ foot
I find it leaches its talons to much

Mine leached at first, this why I got such a deal. They were putting this on million dollar homes, had to many claims for ruining cement patios.
Cheap in OZ. 1 x 6 is about $7.00/ft. retail here.
