Finally got some time to start the cleanup of both
1960 Glen Blue Wood Dale. - was covered in rust. The lid, bowl, and white wheels turned out great. The steel legs will be finished this week. Last is the white porcelain ash pan. Only the second one of these I've seen
Wood Dale Ambassador - prob the dirtiest grill I've worked on. A ton of rust and grime. Lid and bowl turned out pretty good (some porcelain loss). Legs and wheels currently in rehab
Both rare birds Indeed

Are you going to leave the ash pan alone? That patina is outstanding

Easter eggs!
I thought about it. Only problem is over time the metal will degrade to the point where small holes will develop (if I don't address the rust).

What a pair of pastel beauties. Looking forward to seeing them after a Harris restoration. I now have a much greater appreciation of the work you put into restoring these.
