Title: Temp.Gauge MasterTouch Gen1. TEST??
Post by: Jan M. on January 26, 2018, 12:51:21 AM
Hi friends,

maybe the question is stupid, but I am not sure what "Test" on the temperature gauge on a e.g. MasterTouch Gen1. is for.

Can you help me? :-)

Looks like the boiling point. I suppose you could put water in a cast iron pan to see if the gauge is accurate?

Boiling water and a cup of ice water.  Or compare at different points in water with a calibrated/accurate thermometer.  The way the kid therms are set up, you could just get an oven thermometer and let it ride thru a cook and compare.
