Title: SJ legs

What do these "skinny" wire-y legs represent?  Is this an indicator of age?  Don't seem to find much about aging of SJ....

Interesting.. at that history page I don't see my SJ.  N code, wood handle with locking bail and also the bail to slide the lid aside.  Did I miss that?

@MDurso yours is a smokey joe gold.  Its there but the only picture of it has a plastic handle.
