2012, check the age guide link, it's a good one to keep bookmarked. Also, 2012 was the last year for stainless steel ash sweeps. If you do the magnet test it shouldn't stick to them.

That is a pretty green $100 for a non black otg is decent. If your sweeps aren't SS you're gonna have to wait a month or two for weber to get a fresh batch. I just sent back two packages of the aluminized sweeps on my dime. Why cant weber make a kettle upgrade "pimp" kit which would consist of
1) black triangle
2) black ash catcher
3) SS sweeps
4) SS food grate
5) black handles
They could make a 1st gen kit to accommodate the one touch systems of the 80's and 90's. A 2nd gen kit to handle the modern one touch systems. And a 3rd gen to take care of the taco kettles.
This is like the auto industry of the fifties, your kettles are being tinkered with wether you like it or not, acknowledge it and go with the flow. Either open up another division or go third party just make it easier for us to get these parts. Lemans I'm sorry for highjacking.
