The performer keeps sucking me in against my will. It's just been convenient for my cooks lately.

CURRENTLY, my 18 WSM, there is a brisket flat smokin.. in an hour or so it'll be my Red SSP fitted with the rotisserie attachment to spin a pork loin, and a gasser to bake some potatoes... that's it "currently...LOL
My go to is my AD code 26er second is my Pat Pend 22 because I like the color change

To be honest, its whatever color/size/vintage I'm in the mood for or have a need for. These days I am an equal opportunity cooker. Windy days automatically go to the Master Touch or OTG kettles in the bunch but most of the time its a daisy wheeler that gets the nod.
Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-Lam)...
Ive been rotating a kettle every week lately. If so need two, the performer gets that call.

Red SS or Red pat pending the last couple of weeks.
Vortex wings coming up Thursday so the black SS gets the nod.
I can't bring myself to vortex on the reds.
I have been using my 26" and my Performer for some heavy lifting recently.

my modded 18.5" budlight kettle(aka buddy) is my current go to. i need to do some resto on my black gen2 performer and finish assembly on my gen3 copper performer(guy i bought it from never hooked up the gas assist). once done, the copper will be my go to for grilling and the blackie will be a dedicated pizza rig.

My performer gets almost all my cooks. Once in a while I use my other 2, but the performer gas starter is so easy.
For grilling, either (or both, on rare occasions) of two 22-inch kettles (black OTS or green OTG). For smoking, 18-inch WSM. Like mrbill I may make the black OTS a dedicated pizza oven, if I finally get off my *** and put the PizzaQue together.
Lately its the Copper... Most cooks to date are on my EE code Black SSP...
<<< That one right there, and the 18.5 wsm has been getting used a lot lately as well.

2010 dark green performer with gas assist is my main go to. The table and gas assist are awesome. I have a beater Black I use when firing up the pizza Que. My only Red on special occasions, I also have other grills I have never used
My AA code black OTG. It sits on my driveway and is out there 24/7/365. Whenever the weather is iffy, thats the one I use.
My Redhead has been my go to cooker but I did use my yellow for the very first time the other day.

Blue OTP is my go to. Love having the table. Red OTS gets the overflow. Not uncommon to get two going. Target copper with an added ash bucket is for the rotisserie. Black econogrill for the kettlepizza. 14" 1880 for small smokes. 18" WSM for bigger smokes. Smokey Joe for lighting chimneys, while using the mountains. Q2000 for hot dogs. That's pretty much all of them. They all serve a purpose. About to replace the OTP with a blue SSP, thanks to
@zavod44.

Wow, fantastic looking cooker!

it was quite a fiasco getting this one here, to say the least. damage, customs duty mistakes, in the end it was almost free and earned the spot of the regular cooker.
although the old 'cado makes a nice pair with this modern kettle, for the versatility summer requires. :)
Picked this 18.5 OTG up a couple months ago. Been using it recently. Nice little cooker. Made bacon this a.m.
Bacon on the grill is the best!

And it is "Fun Time" when this one gets the call.

Hoosier, it is fabric but I have plenty of open deck to light the fires. One of the prices of renting, not being able have your own set up.

would be hard to pick a favorite,
I do prefer kettles over the ones with tables, I have several tables I have made to use when grilling though, if it were not for that a performer would be nice. But Basically I just wheel out the one I want to use out of the lineup and go for it. I really think my 18 inch and My 14 inch Smokey Joe get the most workouts. After that the 22 inch Masters touch is my main BBQer. Anything classic just gets used to show it off.

I wasn't worried about fire, I just asked because I've been debating getting one of those or building one with a metal roof to stay dry in the rain.

I would do the metal roof. The fabric doesn't last for more than a year or less depending on the wind where you live. This was an earlier set up of mine that I really miss.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170520/cb9f5e3d65772c672df3fc8bdecc2965.jpg)
