I did a quick search and didn't came up with anything. Anyone know the deal with this charcoal grate? Came off a 2001 OTG.

Ah yes! Those are the rapid fire charcoal grates, they are supposed to help get the charcoal going faster, the lighter cubes fit in there nicely. Weber made these in the 90s. I have one that came as a replacement with my PAT PENDING brown 18.5. I love mine! Keep it, use it, abuse it, love it!
