Saw this online the other day listed as a yellow Weber. The color is actually Ochre sort of the same shade of yellow as the Homer Simpson grill. Big Thanks to
@harris92 for all the info.

Didn't (couldn't) get any back story because the seller was very challenged with the English language. I did understand though that it was in his papa garage for years. Thanks for looking.
That is an awesome kettle!
Ugh, triangle is upside down and it has period incorrect wheels.
WORTHLESS. I'll give you 20 bucks for it.
Just messing with you.
This, lady and gentlemen, appears to be history in the making.
Oh my!!! Unbelievable find Bob!!!

LOL LOL LOL
Wow. That is an epic find. My holy grail of grills. I wonder how many years that color was made. The photo in one of the old brochures shows it was made with a MLH as well.
Congratulations!!!!!
Photos need to go in the grill gallery for sure.
Yowzers! A "new" color, and it looks to be in grate shape! Congrats!
I'm glad that there are still scores that make me go "HOLY SHIT" to my screen. Congrats on the awesome score!

WOW, just WOW
Wow, that thing is in amazing shape. Congrats!
Holy Shit that's amazing.
It will look even better with the fire lit and the smoke rolling out the top vent!
That's beautiful, and looks to be in great shape! Congrats

Amazing score, FE !! Thought this colour never existed, even though it's in the 1962 catalog. Been waiting to see one show-up.
So, this colour is not listed in the 1964 catalog .... Is it safe to say that it's a 1963, since it has a wooden lid handle ??

Incredible, find, congrats.
wow....great find!!!
I have talked with MacEggs probably a good 15 times about this very Kettle. If one was known already, who might have one, how many years they made it, the hue of Yellow used....all sorts of shit. Well now we know and what a WONDERFUL specimen......holy crap the thing is almost mint. Are you still shaking a bit FedEx? Fuckin' eh' man!!!! I love it.
Edit: I can't stop looking at it. Epictacular. Bunch of bbq nerds we are boys. Life is good.
The triple spin marks up the side of the lid are uber-cool.
:o :o :o :o :o Holy! It's like finding a Bigfoot. ;) I have never seen that color before in MBH.
I thought it would be 1963 too, but look at this. They are MLH.

So could we assume that it was 65 or 67 or 69 1 year production. According to old Weber Catalog, 64,66,68 did not offer the Ambassador yellow ochre.
Super rare bird. Reminds me of this Topic. Wonder who has this one now. http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/can-someone-please-identify-this-grill/
Awesome find and in damn good shape too!
Incredible! Cross another one off of the white whale list! No more flipping it upside down on concrete though-You know better!
Wow! Go buy a lottery ticket!
On a side note if any finds a baby blue 63' imperial nib, I'll lgive ya 50 bucks for it! ☺
As my older brother and I are wont to say, "Shit the bed!"
What an absolutely gorgeous kettle.

Amazing find!
Question: Is this the rarest grill ever discovered by the WKC?
Amazing.
Congratulations on a great kettle , a rare color and a sweet find . Don't give Mr Hoss your address , I think he's in love !

I know. Hopefully this weekend I can get some better pics. It's the first time I've seen rings on a 22. My flat top 26 rings were awesome.
Banana cream is what this color reminds me of. This needs to go into the gallery ASAP. Congratulations!
Awesome. Congrats!
THAT is a sweet looking kettle man!!!!
Awesome grill!! Now I have to keep my eyes open for a new color
So
@fedex, how's the restore on this gem coming? Any updated pics?
Hopefully I didn't miss an update thread.

Kettle is sitting in the garage. Working on restoring the correct wheels and nut cap should be done with those in a couple days. Triangle and Legs are next. If all goes ok should have pics this weekend.
Umm, we're still waiting, and drooling
@fedex :-)
Action shot...! Does it color shift?
