I have a question. Does anyone know which is taller: A new Weber Master-Touch or a Weber Performer? I was just curious. I have heard people mention that the new Master-Touch sits up pretty high? I was just wondering how it compares in height to a Performer?
In the store they look pretty close

Master-Touch is quite a bit taller; I'm a hair under 6'5" and the older I get, the more my back notices the difference.
Gen 1 or Gen 2/3 performer? My understanding is the newer performers are taller than the original.
LOL! I'm a foot shorter and the last few years I've noticed that the further up I make something, the easier it is to use!

I had my Gen 1 Performer fired up for dinner. The grill grate is 30" off the ground. If memory serves the Gen 2 is 3" taller. Also had the Genesis 3000 standing by, and the grill grate for that is 34.5" from ground. My new-to-me Summit Grill Center beats them all (in a good way) at 38". I'm 6'3" - maybe a shade taller. Love that 38" grate height! (And makes the Performer an official LO-RI-DUH.) Anyone with a Summit Charcoal got a tape handy?

I'm gonna guess, that the new mastertouch kettles are about equivalent to the new performers. My performer is about 3-4" taller than my older kettles.
I just measured them to the bottom of the lid. My Gen3 P is same as Gen4 P without the metal table at 33.4". They sit lot higher than Gen1 SS or the Gen2. New MT at 32" and other reg kettles at 29". Gen1 SS P will be about 30"-31" range.
So, the new Performer will be lot higher. Next is New MT, then Gen1 SS P.
Close enough.
