Title: My 2nd Weber Kettle Restore
Post by: the Tamale Kid on July 14, 2016, 08:53:01 PM
Admittedly this kettle wasn't in bad shape to begin with especially for a 21 year old (EO). I found this 18" Red kettle locally for $12 and couldn't pass it up. I left everything original except the ash catcher and leg cap. It cleaned up nicely and I can use it as overflow for apps & sides when my performer grill runeth over.  8)

Thats "Purdy" that sucker is damn near immaculate. The more I leer at these pics the tighter my pants get. Any 18" colored kettle I find would automatically become a looker I'm sorry but they dont exist in the DC area.

Congrats. That thing was a steal, especially for being in that nice shape.

Tri-tip and corn looks great too.

Always nice to have any 18" around, but a Redhead in that condition with nice 3 wooden handles is double the pleasure.

What did you say you paid for it ...  That is almost a give away.  Nice score!

Santa Maria on your main cooker is nice too.
