Ok so 2 weekends ago this performer popped up for a great price so I treated myself to an early birthday present. It just so happened it's a pretty unique colour here in oz.

It was in good condition with minor rust around the welds, totally grubby internally and generally neglected. In addition when I got home i noticed the gas assist brackets, all the bowl nuts and bolts, and the ash pan handles extremely rusty
Looks good from here.
Congrats, love the color.
It's a pretty unique color in the states as well. I've never seen a sage performer (aside from
@zavod44's conversion), only sage one-touch platinums.
Love the color and that generation of performer
That would look awesome with a new metal table
I really wish I had taken more before photos

Well done! That looks fantastic. DId you really clean the ash sweep - it looks brand new.
Yeah mate, all
Clean
Nice job!
Man, great job cleaning it up!
If you're going black with the hardware, it might really be worth looking into the metal table upgrade, it'd look really sharp!
Nice job
The deep lid bale and metal table aren't available here yet
The black was merely to protect the steel after sandblasting them clean
Nice job!
Looks really nice. Look forward to seeing the reassembly.
Dang that kettle is in great condition!!!!! Nice job so far.
Great work! That's the first sage green Performer I've seen.

Indeed. That is gorgeous! Nice work.
Man, that needs a wood table. :D
Really nice work. That is one of the best jobs on an inside of a lid I have seen.
Wow !
It's always nice to see a Weber find it's way to a good home !
Really nice!! Never seen a gas sage before.
I had to totally destroy the old nylon handle to get the stripped screw out, good thing I wanted wooden

Man ... totally beautiful cleanup, totally beautiful performer, and totally beautiful color ... I love that Sage Green.
SJ
@Antisven84 - It looks like you had something cooking that was smelling so good you tried to take a bite of the handle since you didn't want to peek until it was done!!!

Too bad you couldn't have drilled out the stripped screw. I have had to do that once.
Was able to save the handle, but I ended up going with wood, anyway. Looks far better.
Cool color and awesome clean up!

I'll see what I can do, my brother in law makes up wooden Weber work table clones on his spare time, shouldn't be hard to whip up, can use the platinums table as a template while I clean it up

heads up- the bolt pattern is different. the performer frame extends further out and pulls the mounting hole with with it.
Rightio, suppose I can use the performer table lol
Beautiful work, love that color!
Wonderful job! Looks like new.
Love everything about the job you did. I'm especially a fan of the second generation's black frame. Thinking the thing that would put it completely over the top and be one of my favs on the site would be the addition of the metal table.
Great job!
that looks awesome. congrats!
and that's a rare color anywhere, but in oz? wow!
Not much of an update, gas assist works and bought a cover for it. I'm onto another sstcker project for now.
