Title: Weber history threads
Post by: Cellar2ful on July 01, 2016, 07:30:47 PM

Using the search feature of the forum today, I stumbled on these two interesting threads.  If you are new to the WKC like me , you probably have not seen these.  The first is authored by Statesman @Jeff regarding an old Wood Dale "Demo" kettle he rescued ( May 2014).  The second article is authored by @MartyG and is related to the first as it is an interview with former Weber Demo salesman (August 2013) Jim Rosenthal.  If you are interested in Weber history as I am, these are really interesting to read. @Travis & @Darko I am tagging you both as we all joined the WKC about the same time.

Wow! What a couple of great stories! Thank you for that @Cellar2ful!

You know, I tried almost that same approach that @Jeff did with a redhead owner right up the road from me. No luck though. Guy looked at me like I was a little off.

How cool would it be to be a kid and demo Weber's for the main man! I bet @MartyG was a little taken back when he saw that Great Dane lookin back!!

Thanks for that, Jim. Hey, you have a chance to try out that rotisserie yet?

@Travis - No, I have not had time to try the rotisserie yet.  I have been to busy with other projects. Good news is the projects are Weber related.  I will leave it at that for now..........
