That's pretty neat! Looks like an 18.5? You can even make out the sticker on the shelf pan. He even has the upright charcoal caddy behind it. Here's another. This one is early-mid 70s I think.

@Craig Yep, looks like an 18.5". He was well dressed for the occasion.
Reminds me of my Grandfather in the sense that he grilled on HIS 18.5 wearing slacks and either a button down shirt or a golf shirt. He never owned a pair of jeans.
That's because back in the '50s if you wore jeans you were a little kid, a thug or a farmer.
Thanks for the pictures.
The first one reminds me of my grandpa - glasses and hair.
My black 18 is almost there. Where do I get some white wheels! 8)
And the second one, just so many thing familiar about it.
Awesome photo, thanks for sharing!
great pics!
Gramps is puncturing the meat and losing the juice while the bottom kettle seems wampus with the triangle unhooked.
thank god plus-size fashion has improved. 8)
Very cool pics. Just think. Many years from now it'll be us in those pictures...
I love that long grilling fork - reminds me of Topper 8)
