There is a newspaper print ad from the early 80's that listed Black , Red, Brown,Green and Yellow for the Happy Cooker colors , I've yet to see a yellow or any other colors other than black and red for the 18" charcoal

Very Cool, and probably the biggest HC collection known.

Did you see the Free Happy Cooker near Bend in Sisters on CL?

What a timely post.

Beautiful, Idahawk.  That 'green' from Mike really looks good with all the rest of your kettles :)                             SJ

Thanks for all the nice comments . There was a lot of help from the good folks here in getting these grills . From tips to the actual leg work , several of you guys helped me out and for that I'm forever at your service and grateful.

Hey @idahawk, nice collection.

What's the best way to use the pan with them?

Charcoal grate on top?

Any issues with banking the coals and using the pan?

Yup , the grate sits on the ash pan . I haven't actually banked coals in one . Id just be sure you don't block the vent holes in the pan , that's where most of your air is coming in.
