Title: Who has the smallest Weber collection?
Post by: ramsfan on October 25, 2015, 06:56:39 PM
I know that quite a few people here have very large collections of Weber grills. Having recently sold one of my Weber grills the other day got me to thinking in the other direction. Who among us owns the fewest number of Weber grills? My current total is just three. Can anyone top that? Just curious...

I currently own two, not including the one I sacrificed for a stacker mod.  One is a black 22" OTS with upgrade ash bucket to make it a gold and the other is a 22" performer.  Sorry can't remember the years.  Both are black.

Ok, so we're tied at three each.

...my point was that the symptoms of Weber-itis are causing me to collect more, not less, kettles.  No harm, no fowl  ..  SJ

Having 2 Kettles or even 3 would be difficult.......most of us would have serious withdrawal and some hospitalization. I just sold 2, a Black OTG and a damn Crimson taco handle model. Reticent to let them go it took me a couple months to get around to listing them. I do not miss that taco handle but the Black OTG...............I think about her still.

(2) Black OTG, Black MBH, Black SJS, and Red SS Performer.  The red SSP is new to me, and will probably lead to me to move one of the others.  All factors considered, I probably will never have more than 3 or 4 at a single time, ever.  I do recall seeing someone that only had 2 or 3, all of the same color, but I can't remember who or where that was.

Sounds like 3 is the lowest number.  Having only 3 is actually really impressive, it would be hard for a lot us to get back to that number (without regrets).

I cant see myself with just two grills even if I were forced to reduce my collection. My 2010 C&B performer would be one but I can't choose between my jumbo joe or my red 22 and what about WSM'S can I keep one of those? Once you get over five kettles you cant turn back you're a hunter now.

I had 1: 90's kettle. Then my cousin convinced me to get a WSM, which let to a mini-SWM build, and then one rescue off the side of the road, followed by a donated MBH, and then a CL find 22 for $65...so, uhm...6, I'm out on this contest.

I could be wrong, but I think the winner would have to be someone who has a brand new smokey joe only and no other webers.

So, if you win the smallest collection award, you actually lose!!!  Don't wanna play this game then. I'm one away from twenty, unless the Ranch can count as two, then I'm at twenty. This game is much more fun.

Yay! Good job, brother.

Rashing up your rim, though. You should learn how to use that tiny, tiny lid hook.

I own a 26" and a Q 2000.  No plans to expand.

I'd love to get a performer or something along those lines, but my wife says we're done buying grills for a while.

Hold on. You have 2 grills and your wife has put the hold on. Damn. Don't let my wife know this sort of thing is possible....please. Good luck guy.....and I am glad your only Kettle is a 26er.

I have other items on my toy list that are higher priority at the moment.

Choose your battles wisely, know what I mean?

Besides, the thread just asked for who had the smallest collection!

I have 4.  Three 22's and a smokey joe.

Wife saw my brownie last night (my third addition) and gave me a hard time.  I have a new copper on my Xmas list but I don't see that coming any time soon hahaha
