Title: I'm looking for a wooden grill cart
Post by: halliwell on October 11, 2015, 04:50:33 PM
Hi there - I'm new to the forum but figured that if anyone knows the answer to this it is someone here.
I'm looking to invest in a wooden grill cart - I have seen some pictures of epic carts online (google images and pinterest) and I just don't have the time (or the skill if I'm honest) to build one myself.
Is there a site for a business or individual who makes these?
Thanks so much everyone
Russell

If you want a wooden cart, find a design/plan you like (or one close to) and find a cabinet shop and see if they could make something for you, i had a friend make a shooting cart for me using scraps from custom cabinets for a reasonable cost, might be something to consider.

Do you guys have Mens Sheds over there?
We have them in oz and they are great!
Basically there non for profit organisations where retired tradies hang out a couple of times a week and built stuff for there local communities or individuals for a donation. They have all the tools from metal work to cabinet making and as long as you supply the design and materials they are happy to build what you want. Might be worth looking into

Mens Sheds  ...  WoW, what a great idea.  Never heard of anything like that over here, we've got meals-on-wheels.                             SJ

I always see ads on Craigslist for custom made grill tables. Some even say for Weber. Just search for "grill"

These folks make what you are after.

http://www.ardentgoods.com/

They aren't cheap, but look like they are well made.
On closer inspection, they are only marketing a Smokey Joe sized unit on their site.
