I can't believe it is now October and we still have not heard anything slip out about what is to come in 2016. Makes me think we are going to have black, green, copper, and crimson and the MT in black only. I need a 26 and would love a color!
Right!? Last year we knew by August what was coming down the pike.. I'd love a modern colored 26er!
2015 was a complete overhaul of the entire line:
New names for almost every product
New ash catchers
New Lid bales
New tables
New wheels
I dont expect many changes for 2016, i would assume that they keep the 2015 lineup mostly unchanged this year.
No changes for 2016 guys. I work at ACE Hardware corporate, and can confirm that.
@polishmartin - If you don't have anything nice to say.... LOL
Bummer, I was hoping to see some new colors. I guess they did make a lot of changes in 2015. I do love my 2015 ash catcher on my old performer so I guess I can't complain.

2015-New leg attachment system?
I want COLORS, DAMMIT!!!!!
At least get the top vent positioning right. Colors look nice but the functionality of the 2015 lid is dog crap. And I don't like the pinch ash catcher bucket, pre-2015 is a superior system.
Good pt. re: vent/handle. What dummy allowed that one?

I don't love the pinch system either. Maybe it grows on me but as of now it's a PIA and I think I have decent grip strength.
Like Austin said if your not going to introduce anything new at least fix the ideas that clearly are not working. The vent and the ash catcher should be addressed and give me back my old style handle as well.
Don't know if the 2016 catalog was posted anywhere else but here's a link to it I found:

Looks like they got rid of the Crimson. No crying here. It means mine is now limited edition. The first $200 takes it. 😎
But seriously, they just can't get the red color right. First brick red, then the flat crimson. What's next?
Did they change anything?

This may be the standard big box retailer catalog for 2016. Crimson is only offered at "premium" retailers like Ace. It appeared in the 2015 "premium dealer" catalog but not the regular one. Looks like the handle positions isn't changing back but I'm not surprised either.

Ah, good catch, Craig. I forgot about that. Well count me as one who doesn't really like the current crimson anyway. Along with all of the other issues with the 2015 kettles.
I thought I saw somewhere here talk about Smoke and Crimson and a Black Weber Q ,if that's old news sorry :)

Crimson was not even shown on Weber's website last year as a color option. My guess is it's still around.
Crimson isn't as bad as it's made out to be. In some light it's more red, in others it's more of a rust brown bricky reddish color....

I have a euro 18.5 Smoke and I have to say its a FANTASTIC color option. I've added the 2015 ash can. Here's a cpl shots

It is really a hard color to capture in pics and has an almost metallic finish
I see they added Beech to the smoking woods. Anyone ever smoke with Beech? Is it any good? Also, they added a sear station burner to the Spirit line of gas grills.

That is awesome! Very jealous.
I agree with you guys. handle, ash catcher and color! The passion for those Kettles is here in this club, not at Weber. I think the new handle layout is associated with the larger Performer Lid Bail. And of course Weber isn't gonna make that many variations on the lid. Wished I was awake to the kettles offered back around 2007. I would have gotten a copper Silver One Touch. Must cost too much money to clean and change colors in their high production sprayers. Wished they would do one Special order run for the club each year.Wonder how much it would cost to build a shop to spray custom colors and bake them in small batches?
That crimson does look good!
