That is a long time in the sun. Poor guy.
That would go great with a patinaed rat rod. 8)
Someone decided to remove all the paint er porcelain......
Hummmmmm; handle, a touch weathered; legs, circa '80's but no visible rust; body, traces of black enamel under caked on desert sand. I don't have a clue :( SJ

My thinking exactly (//)
Extreme neglect. Perhaps left outside for yrs uncovered in a high humidity environment near an ocean or other large body of salt water.
You don't think it's just painted with red primer?
Must be a coastal area. Bet you it will still make a hell of burger and doggy cooker! I would cook on that over a new cheapo Wally world charcoal "grill" any day. Seriously
I don't think it's a weber.
Look at the handle welds, they're bent in instead of out.
The top vent has 2 tabs instead of one. Plus four holes instead of 3.

That bowl isn't deep enough to be an SJ either. The lid is the opposite... too deep/high domed compared to a genuine 'Joe.
Handle has screws, Look closely handle mount tabs 180 out from norm. Bowl could be Weber?
