How do you remove the damper silicone handle for the performer lid damper?...just pull it off??
yes, pull it off.
be careful not to bend the vent upwards. Try to find something to wedge in between the vent and the silicon handle. Lift from the wedge, that way there's equal downward force on the vent.
@Troy..thanks..so moderate pressure and the damper silicome handle will slide off?
While applying downward pressure on the damper vent bend area?
Yeah he's saying don't just yank up on it because of course you'll risk pulling the damper out of shape to where it won't seal up the holes.
If you look at a non damper handle you notice there's two nubs that secure the plastic handle, that's what you're working against just an FYI. So maybe try wiggling the plastic up a little on each side instead of pulling straight up?
I know I've said before but I'd love Brian to design and make some timber ones

That would be sweet. 2-piece? Something with a small screw to hold it, like how the handles come together. Drilling a hole into the damper tab might be tricky but creating a 1-piece with groove cutout might be even more work than cutting two separate pieces. Just thinking out loud.
Yes ats something like that ^^^ I'm sure
@zavod44 could design something sweet
I'm trying!
