Title: Cool finds at old hardware store
Post by: Uncle JJ on March 02, 2015, 06:28:16 AM
I happened upon an old hardware store and discovered that they were not very good at turning over their inventory!  The charcoal rails and roast rack were from 2006-2007.  The Sidekick was from 1989 - 25 years this thing had been sitting on the shelf!!

I couldn't believe my eyes.  I shrieked a little when I saw it.  It was on the floor behind another box - I nearly overlooked it!

Nice!  Did you push your luck by asking for 1989 pricing on the Sidekick?

They wouldn't budge on price!  I guess they had 25 years of shelf space invested in the thing.
