One of the sharpest looking international hockey jerseys of all time... and the sisters get to sport them once in awhile ;)

Well at least Henrik Lindqvist gets to wear it, he's a real man.  Forsberg wore it with pride....I think I have six Sevrige jerseys in my collection....

Didn't the USA win gold that year? .... I'm kidding. Or course they did! I remember it well.
I was only 11 years old, but, it's something I will never forget.  Watched it live, before the rest of the US watched it on 2 hr delay.  ;) ;)

Very cool!  I think Team USA beat Team Canada earlier, too.
I believe that was the first Olympics since 1968 that Canada had sent a team. No team sent in 1972 and 1976 due to protest.
A lot of those Team USA players had some very nice careers. Ken Morrow went on to win the Stanley Cup with the NYI later that Spring.

Jack O'Callahan played for the hawks, Neal Brotten played for a million years with the North Stars....

@zavod44 , I remember watching the "made for TV" movie in 1981 starring Karl Malden as Herb Brooks.

lol - are you kidding me Mac?!?  No need to apologize, as you know I'm a huge fan of the game 8)

@zavod44 Sounds like a pretty epic collection! How many Jerseys do you have in total?!? We might have to add a "Jerseys Owned:" line to your forum profile :)

Jagr alone could account for quite a few ;)

Talk about the definition of a 70'/80's goaltender. The brown pads and gloves and the plain white Jason mask!

It was very sad when he died. One of the best goalies in the world, at the time.

Oh and Stu, since we live here in the U.S. it's a jersey.  Those across the border wear sweaters....
