Title: A Grillfella's Birthday
Post by: argentflame on August 30, 2014, 02:51:56 PM
August 29th was Carlo's birthday aka Kako5256. I was able to meet his wonderful family.friends and we all had a great time.
It was a lot of fun grilling on the RK and still learning on how to improve on using this beast. Everybody was impressed with the grill. The RK is Team Cali's shared grill. Everybody is welcome to borrow this grill.
Carlo on the right and I grilling Chicken Breast, oysters and Scallops.

From the left: Alvin(Argentflame), Allan(Carlo's brother) and Mike
On the Right: Mike and Carlo
Yes it takes five people to grill on the RK. Shrimps, Chicken breast marinated with Vay Veri Veri Terriyaki Sauce, Rack of lamb and oysters. Notice  the spectacular view of the bay and mountains.

One thing I learned from grilling from an RK. Shrimps, scallops or smaller piece of meat are best put inside a fish grilling basket. Instead of flipping every single thing. Boom just flip one time.
Thank you Carlo for inviting me It was with great pleasure cooking, hanging out with you, your family and friends. Awesome conversation, company and food.

That IS how to do birthday up right there boys.  And it looks like you guys have good taste in beer too.  I like me a Stella or 2 as well.  Love the Ranch.
