No, not the 26er. That's a given. The one I wish they made is the 2nd Generation taller frame with the black tubes and stainless front panel, but with a glossy red kettle. Oh, and I would put the older white-wall wheels on it too - I just can't warm up to the modern wheels.
Like they say: your wish is my command:

Next up is a butcher-block table-swap.
Nice.
Sweet. I bet Cuda Dan would want that with a butcher block. Can't wait.
Love it!
That is the best looking Performer I've ever seen. I love that style and of course there is nothing better looking than the red lid and bowl. I will build one like it someday (I hope).
I love that, if I didn't have my sage mod performer I would be looking to make that

I wish it had a stainless top.. That would be the ultimate for me. The plastic is just awful

Love it Marty. I like that little WKC sticker on it too.
That is very nice!
Absotively right about the wheels...

Marty - nice mods. Looking forward to seeing the butcher block. Perhaps some cherry wood in the BB to highlight the kettle?
Winz
I like it, i am looking forward to seeing the butcher block table!
Looks great Marty. I enjoy this frame too. They height is much more desirable than the S/S. Just IMO.
Don't be afraid to go oversize on the BB top. you will be satisfied with the extra real estate.
Whats about the idea to build a 18.5-performer? For the Weber-man with the small porch or a balcony?

it's not gas-assist, but weber did make an 18.5 version of the older style One Touch Platinum that was pretty nice.

I didn't know about this. I want to have one. But I think this was never sold here in Germany.
Who sends me detailed pictures of a performer (also ss-Version), so i can build my own?
Englaender,
This is a very extensive breakdown & rebuild and there's another one too I'll look for.............

Took a bit, but here's another good one....these are both regular size, but you could scale them down perhaps.....

I abuse my table too much, if I had a butcher block table it would be ruined...
same here Brian...I'm scared to start using my Wooden Performer for the same reason....thinking maybe a large size metal baker's tray to actually work on............
Granite!

So, what do you think about some sort of veneer or plywood then, that you could replace every year or two and not feel bad about it? Plausible or no?
I just go with the plastic...I can or very hot things on it, I can scrub the shit out of it and it comes clean....I'm very content with the plastic

Why not just wait till Weber makes these tables available?

I think Wood looks a hell of a lot better than plastic.

I think this table would look good on the C&B performer as the frame is black and that table would match it.
