I stopped at an Estate sale on a whim last weekend and found this. $10. B Code. The funny thing is when I took off the lid to examine it, it still had charcoal in it. The coal was in the bottom of the bowl UNDER the charcoal grate. The cooking grate looks unused. I think the PO lit the coals in the bottom of the bowl with all the vents closed and then tried to cook on the charcoal grate. Needless to say, they were unsuccessful which probably led to this sitting in the garage for the next 34yrs.

Inside the lid, all cleaned up. Took a couple minutes.

Nice salad, I have an "A" and "C" code that look similar to yours.
Looks great.
I have a pre-code, and I really love that style with the wire legs.
Congrats on a great score!
Awesome find! I should pay more attention to the Smokey Joe's that I see.
I love the smell of a evening cook...
so sweet, I love the handle!
Nice job Salad. I also like the way the handle looks and how the cleaning really brought the black out.
It's funny how people think isn't it, the way some grills either they have never been cooked on or they found some new way to cook :o
Nice pickup. I have an E code just like this, same style folding legs but with the ridge in the bowl like the later ones.
