So a couple weeks ago I found a blue Mastertouch listed. Its a grill I've been looking for now for a little while. I thought it would go nice with my other MT collection. I was lucky enough to find this one in pretty remarkable condition. The bowl and lid were in super condition. I took everything apart and cleaned it up. I was even able to remove the original OT system without breaking the nut on the bottom that holds the 3 blades in place together (normally its so rusted that the nut just breaks when you twist it). It even came with a condiment rack.
The only thing I did besides cleaning the kettle and bottom half was put 2 new handles on from Brian, and got an assist from Stu (G) for some lid bail rollers that were missing, and 2 nice used wheels since the original ones were rotted pretty good from the sun. It's nothing super fancy or vintage, but it goes well with my other MT's that were missing a blue sibling!

Blue looks really nice by itself, and the whole family looks awesome together.
Very nice! I hope to find one of those in my area as well.
That red one to the right in the pick has some amazing fade on it. That's looks pretty unique in its own right.
That is awesome Jeff! I too am looking for a blue MT to go with the red and green. VERY nice!

The one on the right is a Burgundy MT, its much darker than the red as you can see.
Here they are side by side

After I put the 4 MT's away, I realized I forgot to get the copper one in there with them. Too much work at the time to pull those 4 back out. :(
Very nice pick up Jeff. The blue MT is in a class of its own. :)

hmmmmmmm...
I have always liked the blue MT's, but that's still the only maroon I have ever seen. It's the MT's that first got me hooked in the early seventies when I was around six or seven. I still keep my custom modern blue MT on hand and will probably never part with it. It's the grill my son and I bought together when he was four.

Haha, I was about to call you out for the copper. Nice pickup, Jeff!
That is a beautiful collection of MTs. Thanks for the pics!
Very Nice set of MTs.

Thanks for sharing the M/T collection! Other than Black and the Euro colors, are there any other colors you need for a full set?
Winz
You have a nice colection of M/Ts!
Wow! great group pics.....can we start calling you Skittles? ;D
Love it, that's a super clean blue! My blue MT is and has been my work horse since I got it last summer. The MT line is truly the top for me, performer is a very close second. I love the lid position when in the bail.

Once I get a group family shot with all the colors together in one, then we'll call it Skittles! :)
Sweet Blue, and collection.

Well, that Copper MT came from Europe (before Target had to go and offer theirs), and I have a turquoise Smokey from there too.
I wouldn't mind having one of their Lemon 22's...unless I can find an Ochre Wooddale! That's another grill I've never seen either!
While the target kettles brought the copper color, I believe they were all OTS, not M/T. My "Jerome" project was to convert a target kettle to a M/T based on the photos of yours. I think you have a pretty exclusive kettle there - at least one not seen in the US.

The trick is to intercept them before they leave the country:

Don't bother with that guy...he likes black grills! :)
True enough Jeff and Jeff, but if they ever do a true silver, I might be convinced to switch teams.
I'm picking up my Blue MT tomorrow. I can't wait to get it cleaned up and looking like yours. That is a great looking collection.
I see that your blue one has I the ash catcher on opposite of the others in the group photo. What is the correct side for the handles or is it a matter of preference?
Ok Dan...you are the second person to point this out to me.
I've kind of thought about that exact question of "what side should the ash catcher system be oriented on?" The way the setup on my blue MT stands, there are no clearance issues with the sweeper. It works fine. Is there really a "right" way to assemble it? Or is it preference depending on where your grills typically sets on your patio or deck?
I LOVE the master touch grill. We need to use the power of the weber kettle club to have weber make them again (in the states). Get rid of the performer silver and bring back the Master touch. Put some charcoal baskets in and sell it for $30 more than the OTG. I think I would by a brand new one and I never buy new.

It might be a problem when you have so many grills that you forget what you have
