Something you don't see every day! I'm guessing custom paint for a trade show of some kind. Found this on a Swedish (I think) grilling blog. (http://www.hultensgrillar.se) Peter Fonda would approve!

I think that's in the Weber restaurant .?.
Because Here we are Friends. Here we are Brothers.
A family in the name of Weber.

yup...the Weber restaurant in Lombard, (IL) has a grill painted up like that.

I wonder if Weber actually made this with the paint job. If they did I'm sure the paint would hold up great to the high temps.

It's cool, maybe I need to do that with an old worn out grill....

That would be badass to have! But in order for Weber to make it work under high temps at the factory, they'd have to drag the cadmium out of the mothballs to get the stripes. Which I'm not opposed to, just saying! That kettle screams "I WANT YOU, TO GET YOUR GRILL' ON!"

The one I saw at the Weber restaurant didnt seem like a legit porcelin finish paint job.  It wasn't as smooth as a factory finish, plus you could feel the "lines" of the stars and stripes...almost as if it was carefully masked off.   It was unlike the kettles with logos on them where its completely smooth with no transisition "tape lines"
