Weber Propane FirePlace - Updated with Photos
« on: March 29, 2014, 01:01:11 PM »
Picked up a used one from CL today for $75. Seeing as most of them go for $400 on CL around here I think I did pretty good. I'll get some photos when the weather is better tomorrow.

Here's the link on amazon to see a photo until I can post a few - http://www.amazon.com/Weber-Outdoor-Fireplace-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B0006JCWYW/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

The looked interesting. I've seen a few for sale, but have never seen one in person.  Can't wait to see some pics

This beast has been cleaned and functions. Manual says it weighs 128lbs, and it certainly is built like a tank.

That thing is awesome. Does it use the smaller propane bottles?

Spent a few hours cleaning it up and replacing the hardware with SS.

75 bucks is a score.  I've seen a number listed on CL, but for way too much money.  Nice find Terry!
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

It runs on a 20lb propane tank. You can take off 3 "doors" out of 4 so if the wind is blowing the flame won't go out. Has an adjustable flame and gets pretty hot. The igniter wasn't working but it can be lit manually. May be clogged or just need to be replaced. Either way I couldn't pass it up for such a cheap price. I was 1/2 hour away shopping with the wife and boy when it popped up on CL. Emailed and said if he gets back to me before I head toward home I'd come pick it up. Luckily he got back to me right away so off we went. It's very well built, sturdy as hell. Weighs a ton too.
