I just purchased a Weber OTG in like new condition but it doesn't have the thermometer in the lid.  I want to install a Weber 70180 thermometer, but I'm having trouble locating one.  Any suggestions?  FYI, the model replacing the 70180 is more expensive and the bezel has to be purchased separately.

I wonder if that is the same one that goes in the Weber Q

Here are a few pics of what I have.

I am going to be using mine for a Mini WSM build.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Correction I thought you were saying you just needed the therm and not the bezel.

Try ereplacementparts.com. They have a great selection of weber parts and the prices are fair.

Weber used to sell the therm and bezel for around $12 but since last October (parts price hike), you cant find that deal anymore.  I think you have to go purchase them separately.

That's not the same, buckie.  That one goes into a MT or older Performer lid.

The OP wants this one (only with the bezel)

I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

That's a nice-looking gauge and at 1-3/4" diameter it should fit the WSM bezel.

Here's one that is specific to "Low and Slow" cooking but it is 2" diameter.
I have a Tel Tru on a smoker and it's pretty accurate for an analog gauge.

The closest I could find to the OP's part# was a therm/bezel for a 22.5" WSM
Looks like the fluted bezel.
The new WSMs over at the hardware have a shorter bezel and no flutes.
They look very sanitary.

Someone over on the bullet forum was looking for the same therm/bezel.
Sounds like Weber isn't interested in selling many of these.

One of the posters recommended the 1.75" therm/bezel.

Nope, you gotta lie (against my principles). But "webercloseouts" on eBay sells a Therm for the Summit - the smaller one - and the 18" WSM temperature gauge bezel all the time on eBay. It'll cost you more than what people are paying Weber ($20-$25 w/shipping), but it gives a guranteed hassle-free option to obtaining the parts.

If you go this route, please get the 18" WSM bezel, and Weber Summit thermometer that fits that bezel. I purchased the 22" WSM and larger Summit therm for a 22 inch kettle and it looks like a giant wart sitting on the kettle. http://tvwbb.infopop.cc/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Waaaaay too big.

Don't bother with the WSM thermometer either - it only goes up to 400 degrees or so, and you'll blast through that on your next cook.

I have been wondering if Tel-Tru makes a thermometer to fit the bezels.
