The Web bug zapper
« on: February 19, 2014, 02:57:18 PM »
Okay, now I'm thinking I can't live without one of these. Pictures I've been able to find seem to indicate that the power cord comes in through the side some place, is that correct? It seems to me that it would have looked better if it had come in from the top but I suppose that would not be the case if you were mounting on a stake or pedestal. Is the dome simply painted or is it porcelain like the kettles?
Still not certain about this, but if anyone here has one they want to sell please PM me. Thanks.
Dale

Great pictures Mr. Hatch. :-) Thanks much.
Power cord looks to be maybe about three or four feet in length? That wire cage must be removable in order to provide access to the bulb assembly, is that correct? Description on box says "Sealed in Rust Resistant Finish". Is that the same finish as the kettle grills?

The cord is 30" but 1" of it is inside of the cage. I believe it's porcelain coated. The finish and texture looks exactly like my black smokey Joe. The cage is removable for bulb replacement and is held on by one nut at the bottom.
