When Marty asked for a 'group photo', we weren't sure if he was talking about the people or the kettles!

(So we did both.)

Thanks a million for a perfect gathering, Marty.  I saw a lot of breathtaking grills, ate some grate food, and met some wonderful people.  The only folks in the world who don't think me odd for talking Weber nonstop while also eating and cooking.  My kind of people!

It's customary to bring a bottle of wine when attending a dinner party, but what is appropriate for the host of a WKC meetup?

An impressive lineup of cookers.

...and an impressive lineup of lookers (Marty likes black).

Jumbo Joes, in the house.

Never been kissed (by flame).

Wooddale vent (whoa).

Pez fired up his yellow, just so we could watch the color shift.

Marty let me hot-smoke my salmon in his gorgeous flat-top 26, since it seemed a little big for my OT+.

Marty's NIB accessories.

Full lineup (less Teer's copper OTS, and Marty's 26 and 18 that were too hot to move).

It was a GREAT TIME. Marty thank you for welcoming us all to your home. We got to meet great people and eat great food. And also got to bring home some goodies.

Thanks Marty.

Here's a couple shots of some of the eats:

Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.

Great group shot! Marty, could you please tell us who everyone is? The grills, food and definitely the location were very nice. It's nice to see the black woody again too. Congratulations on such a successful meet. :)

Sounds like thunderstorms rolling in now - we managed to enjoy beautiful weather all day. WKC karma was in full effect! Here's a little more food:

Pre-pulled pork showing off it's bark:

Chorizo and buffalo sloppy joe, with Almond-cream tikka chicken skewers:

Performer tasked with blistering a couple Anaheim peppers for the sloppy joe:

Shane with color-coordinated drink serving up sausages, peppers and onions from a custom plow-disc griddle:

...and getting clever with a stacked set-up with beans on the bottom:

Meanwhile, Teer tends to the bourbon wings on his copper:

while I get a sneak peek at Mike's salmon masterpiece:

And of course, let's not forget why the Mid Atlantic is a great place to be:

Still more to come!

Marty said this door prize was a wine glass, but he was mistaken!

Last shots for tonight: Thanks for watching!
Framing a meetup takes careful planning:

Milling about while grilling about is the order of the day:

Weber history is so close it seems like you can reach out and touch it:

Generations of nearly untouched kettles were represented:

Beautiful kettles sometimes come in small packages:

...and sometimes in a color other than black:

but of course we all know they look best when they're hard at work:
