 18.5 Pre Patent Pending kettle (thumbscrews, metal wheels, etc.).  Thank you Agent X.... :)

If you mean this era (1960s) They did and I have one. It's the family heirloom of the bunch. My Grandfathers red 18..

The red one is like a siren - you can't look away.  Very cool that it came from your grandfather.  The black one is my favorite -  something about black wheels with whitewalls and an all black grill - pure classic!  Congrats to you both.
