There was one on cl a few months back that came with a red 22.5 in Chicago. I don't believe anyone here got it. Maybe someone saved the picture. I'm still looking for mine.

The bottom hanlde looks the same as those on a vintage 18.

I was just now thinking the same thing and saw you beat me to it...

Not to hijack the thread but I zoomed in to the '63 catalog and if anyone's interested, it looks like the U-clipped Wood Dale era pans had a "satin finish" on them?  So was that version originally painted? :-\

Since the likelihood of owning one is slim,  I'm gonna have to make one. I'm picturing a galvanized trash can painted red with a red JJ lid covering it, swivel mounted to a (borrowed) "A" frame stand, add a new school JJ lid handle to the bottom of the can... VIOLA!!!!

If it's a weber, I can't pass on it. That's my sickness! I hope I am never cured.

Hey that's awesome.  Thanks for posting it!  I don't think anyone here even has one of these, whether its Weber or not!

Is that variable speed? Could use one of those in a coal/wood fired forge.

How about adding the charcoal caddy to the Grill Gallery?

I'll get it there at some point Bob.  Its apart right now.  Its going to get a rehab if the weather ever warms up!  You'll be seeing other vintage accessories being added to the Gallery as well!
