A buddy brought this over yesterday.  It was nice to see one of these in person.  The utility pan was not porcelain coated.

Any chance I can get a close up vent shot of that one? And I hope a nice new camera is under your tree this year Stephen!  ;D

What size is that and in comparison to mine the side handles look way different and do you have a close up of the vent
i almost have all my grails but waiting for that yellow to miraculously appear maybe in ny.

It is an 18.5"

Marty, I will get you a vent shot.  It is a standard Wood dale vent.  I have a Nikon SLR on the way from B & H Photo.  Got a nice "Black" Friday deal.  Tired of using the IPhone as a camera  LOL :)

zorknards2

I don't believe yours is a 56 because the vent code would be a Chicago not wood dale. Craig probably can give a better age

Stephen, if that custom made it to my house, it would not be leaving!   :P  (I assume this one is reilly's right?)

Jeff

Is that Ed Reilly's Custom Bar B Que  Kettle?
Kettle collector AND cooker!

harris92

Yes, this is Ed's kettle. We had a "mini" meet up yesterday.  I will get a shot of the vent.  It was a Wood Dale vent.  Good point about it not being a Chicago vent.  The utility pan was interesting. It was made out of the same material as the legs.  I had never seen one in person.

Duke

Very nice Harris, it's always a pleasure to see a grill like that. I can't wait to see more mini meet pictures.

Craig

That is nice!!!! We've got a collaborative project in the works based on this era. There's no such thing as too many pictures. Love it!!

Craig

Can you show us the underside of that grill and pan when you get a chance?

Troy

Oh myyyyyy
