I wasn't sure how it would go down with everyone , seeing as I cut up a SJ and am no longer using it to cook on. Truth be known, this was sitting at the back of Golly's kettle restoration shed and I grabbed it at the meetup , it was in a lineup with a few other black SJ's and was destined to spend a few years there collecting dust
At least now it's being put to use everyday and it puts a smile on my face when I drive in my driveway after work and see it

How do you keep the mail dry? The top vent on my webers aren't watertight.

I took the vent off to paint and now have a nut and bolt screwed down pretty tight to hold the vent
I'm just going to see how it goes, I may run a bead of silicone around the inside of the vent holes if its an issue, but it hasn't rained out here for a while and it looks like it's going to be a dry hot summer
