Bumped into this the other day...

I posted the gasser I stumbled into but I also bumped into this guy....



I like him and he has found a new home here. He has some issues but don't we all? Vents are a little loose and I put in an order for one of the WKC finest handles.  Not gonna really clean him up much because I think the rust and soiled legs for him is like a fine patina. I did clean out the bowl tonight and hose off the exterior but that is it.

I didn't get close ups but I find it interesting that this kettle has a patent number present on the lid vent, small tab bottom vents, and early plastic thin whitewall tires.

Just kidding ... do what you want with it regarding cleaning / restoration ... then hug it a lot ... everyday ..
